Sapphire places premium emphasis on Security since we handle critical & confidential client data. Sapphire’s security policy encompasses a high level of Physical and Network Security at the workplace. We are committed to total integrity and confidentiality of client information and have a comprehensive Security Policy to provide complete reassurance to our clients. The security issue incorporates following:

  Sapphire ensures a high level of Physical security at the premises with the following features:

ZICOM Access control system for access to work area.

Employee ID cards, which activate and monitor access to work areas.

Company’s Server is kept under Lock and Key round the clock and is physically accessible only by the Director and IT manager.

Each individual user’s computer system too is kept under lock and key to maintain a high level of security and hence each user is responsible for the safety and restricted access to his/her computer.

Physical division of work area as per nature of work.

Mobile phone usage policy rectricts its usage outside the work area.
 (B) Logical Security


 

Network and Data Security  
  Sapphire has invested in a state of the art infrastructure which features:  

Firewalls on all systems monitored around the clock.  

Antivirus installed on all desktops and servers. These are updated and upgraded at regular intervals. This ensures thorough protection against malwares, spywares and antiviruses.  

Restricted access to Servers and shared areas on the servers. This ensures that only authorised personnel are allowed to access the relevant data.  

Each individual user’s system data comprises of only the information relevant to their official working.  

Restricted Access to the internet.  

Backup and Disaster Recovery Plan. Three sets of backup data taken daily. One set is kept at office and two sets are kept at Director’s residence. This takes care of Data Security in the event of a disaster. We are in a position to get back to normal working within 24 hours in case of disaster.  

Workstations with disabled Media such a floppy drives, USB drives, & CD-ROMs.
 

 
 

Employee Security  
  Sapphire follows a stringent HR policy which features:  

Reference checks at the time of recruitment, from past employers & proper id proof etc is taken.  

Strict follow of probation period of employee to maintain the percentage of presence and hence client’s work never gets affected.  

Regular performance reviews of employee is taken to keep the process up.  

Agreements entered into with employees at the time of employment.

 

Apart from above our company policy gives utmost importance to time punctuality and completion of work under dead-lines.

Document Shredding: Premium importance and special care is given to the shredding of clients paper printouts taken by us to handle the work. And hence, document shredding is a regular and periodic schedule in our policy as below:

Most of the documents are destroyed as soon as the job is completed & finalized.
The documents are destroyed on daily basis & on average of 250-300 docs are destroyed daily.
